Project Area: 500㎡ | Project: Chinese restaurant in Galway | Design Type : Interior Design
This reception area serves a multifunctional purpose. It is both a cashier counter, a display and sales area for traditional Chinese small gifts, and a place for delivery of takeaways. From the wooden sliding window on the right. Inside the sliding window is the kitchen area, which is convenient for placing takeout orders quickly.
The design of the space is inspired by traditional Chinese architectural elements. For example, screens from the Song Dynasty, and traditional Chinese color themes. I cleverly combined traditional Chinese architectural elements with modern functions to create an interior design that is not only beautiful but also functional.
This design concept also originated during the Covid 19 period. At that time, in consideration of preventing crowds from gathering together, this method of using traditional Chinese screens for partitioning came up. It not only met the functional needs, but also reflected a sense of China. The beauty of Zen.
