Project Area: 136㎡ | Layout: Four bedrooms, two living rooms, two bathrooms | Design Type : Interior decoration package
The homeowners of this property are a newlywed couple who chose a fully furnished apartment as their first home after marriage. The space meets their essential living needs, so no structural changes were made. Instead, they adjusted the décor to achieve a unified design style and enhance the living ambiance.
The overall design inspiration comes from the movie "Princess Sissi," integrating both palace-inspired vintage elements and modern fashionable components. We aimed to create a warm and exquisite atmosphere that aligns with the lifestyle pace of young urbanizes. The primary color palette consists of sophisticated gray, avocado green, and champagne pink, with the addition of plaster moldings to create a sense of geometric structure. The use of metal and glass materials runs throughout the space, generating a subtle dramatic tension from the inside out.
The master bedroom's backdrop utilizes line cuts to modularize the space, resembling a rich white chocolate bar, waiting for its owner to melt into it. The soft furnishings and overall color scheme are harmoniously unified, creating a beautifully warm sleeping environment.
The original master bedroom had an irregularly shaped walk-in closet. We adopted a diamond-cut approach to adjust its layout, turning the previously chaotic space into a square and logical design. The flow now smoothly transitions from choosing outfits to trying them on and then dressing up, fully meeting the homeowner's needs.
We chose a round dining table of a smaller scale to alleviate the cramped feeling of the dining area. With four chairs surrounding it, the distance between family members is brought closer together.
The wall's mirrored combination design magnifies the spatial perception, with the mirrors extending a sense of intimate interaction within the dining area. Both aesthetic appeal and practicality coexist, and the attention to detail embodies a sense of ritual in everyday life.
The original positions of the TV wall and the sofa wall had impractical flow, so we swapped their locations. With a base of sophisticated gray, the TV wall boasts an accent of avocado green, while the sofa's backdrop contrasts with a splash of champagne pink.
The golden ratio lines animate the space, bringing an impeccable sense of finesse. Geometric plaster moldings clash in texture with the pink divided wall, conveying dynamism within its elegance.
The velvet sofa stands like a fine sculpture, yet without feeling overly intricate, its hue and light presenting a soft ambiance. Curtains with a great draping effect offer a lively visual sensation, and the sleek yet elegant single-seater sofa is very inviting. The homeowner often sits there, sipping tea and flipping through magazines. This cinematic setting aligns perfectly with her most beautiful imaginings of life as someone who deeply cherishes it.
